Destash - Abstract Garden Charmeuse

Abstract Garden Charmeuse

If anyone is interested, I have four yards of Abstract Garden Charmeuse fabric that I don't want. It's brand new, unwashed, and 58'' wide 100% Polyester.

I added it to the shop and will ship free to anyone in the U.S. via priority mail. If you are outside of the U.S. and want it, please email me for shipping prices.

Hope we can find this guy a new home.

New fabrics

new fabrics on sale

I received this lovely delivery of fabric this weekend. It was all on sale at Sew, Mama, Sew. Love them all.

cats always getting in the way

Of course, as soon as I try to do anything near the window, the cats suddenly need to be right there in that tiny space as well.

Mom's Fabric Stash

This past weekend, I went to visit my mom. She had recently acquired lots and lots of fabric from a friend, so she told me that I could do some free fabric shopping from her stash. I had no idea, though, that I would be leaving with a giant canvas bag full of material. I thought "lots and lots" was an exaggeration. No. It was not.

Here are the best of the best from what I brought home. Look how neatly stacked and folded they are! It was a shame to have to wash them and ruin the organizational beauty of it all.

Gingham & Plaid

I already have a plan for these Gingham prints. Love them so much!

Dots and things

Stripes

And I'm a huge fan of polka dots and stripes, so these were great to beef up my collection.

Flowers

Random bits

It's a little hard to tell, but those owl fabrics are navy blue and purple. I like them a lot.

Sail Boats

Watercolor Flowers

Upholstery weight

Now, the question remains: Where the hell am I going to put these? Not that would stop me from taking them, of course. It's just that I just tidied the fabric shelves up. See?

I'm in love.

my favorites

I love this fabric so much!! It gives me elated butterfly feelings akin to looking at great art. I didn't expect fabric would do this to me.

I want to make this fabric into something that I can use every day, so a quilt would probably be best. That way I can wrap myself in it and stare at it lovingly for years. But I'm nervous. I want it to be GOOD. That's why I haven't done anything with it yet. I don't want to rush into something that might not work out. It's stupid to let it just sit on a shelf not enjoying it. I've got to find the perfect pattern. Any ideas?

Coffee, ice cream, and fabric

It's a celebration here today. New fabrics have arrived in the mail. This calls for coffee and ice cream. (Please not that there is no way I could take this picture without sampling the ice cream first. Impossible.)

ice cream, coffee, and new fabric

It all started with this pretty yellow floral by Marcus Brothers' "Come Quilt with Me". I noticed it and I needed to buy it immediately. I've had a thing for yellow these days.

But, of course, as I scanned the Etsy shop of Mineymo, I realized I needed more, more, more! These things spiral out of control sometimes.

Heather Bailey Bijoux Tiled Primrose in Red, Erin McMorris Park Slope Pebbles in Ivory, & Erin McMorris Park Slope Birds in Ivory

NOW. Here is my dilemma, and I hope someone can help me decide. I originally bought these to use for spring coffee sleeves in my Etsy shop. Should I stick to the original plan or go ahead and use them now? I mean, new fabric just sitting there is so hard to resist. I need some opinions please!
