Soup inspires sewing (or vice versa)

Lima Beans & Corn

Lima Beans & Corn

I was making some Succotash Chowder from the Moosewood cookbook today and couldn't help taking these pictures. How great are these colors? I love the green lima beans and yellow corn together.

New coffee sleeve

I just made a new coffee sleeve recently with these colors as well. And let's not forget my couch quilt.

Anyhoo... The soup was quite good. Been making a lot of soup lately so that I can get more vegetables in without going directly to salads. I think its working.

Arg!

Looks like I missed a Front Page treasury featuring my little nautical coffee sleeve. Thank you, Etsy!

And how awesome is this craft cult widget? Love it.

Well, this was a pleasant surprise this week! So happy to see the little cherry plaid coffee sleeve on the front page of Etsy. Thank you, SewnSunday, for including me in your treasury!

Polar bears riding bicycles? That's right.

Polar Bear Beach

I've decided to turn over my most favorite fabric to you guys.

You may remember these pot holders that I made a while back. I love them so much! But I don't think it would be a good thing to cover my whole apartment in polar bears and bunnies just yet, so I've made some new coffee sleeves to sell... just in time for summer.

Along with these beachy bunnies and bears, I also had a cute little park scene starring the same bicycle riding bears.

I hope to have these and many more new styles up in the shop sometime soon. For now, enjoy this little sneak peek of the cuteness!
